Well, here we are in Palm Desert. We packed up the car on Wednesday, and let me tell you how packed the "Jackson Mobile" was. I can't believe how much stuff a newborn requires for a few days away from home. Maybe it's just because the mom had to pack everything! So the car was packed, we had the dustbuster charged and ready to go in the car (thought I wouldn't take it?!), we had a bottle ready for a meal on the go, and we were off for a 2 hour ride. Now Jackson doesn't particularly like the car. In fact you could say that he hates it. So we were nervous as we were heading out. He fell asleep before we left home, but that doesn't last long. Before we knew it, we were pulling up to Palm Desert, and Jackson slept the whole way there. Let me repeat that because it's HUGE! Jackson slept the whole 2 hour trip to Palm Desert! He usually screams the whole way to the grocery store down the street, so a 2 hour trip was a huge accomplishment. Way to go, Jackson!
Here's a picture of Jackson at his first Thanksgiving feast. Don't worry, no turkey for Jackson. He was still full from his milkshake. I know...he's looking pretty healthy here.
