Jackson has the chubbiest little duck feet. He never got to wear any of those cute little shoes when he was tiny because his feet never fit into them. Apparently, nothing has changed! We were unsuccessful at the mall today trying to get a pair of shoes. At first, nothing fit. Then a sales lady measured his foot and the first thing she said was, "Wow! He has wide feet!" I was unaware that they make wide and extra wide shoes for babies. The lady measured his feet at a size 6! Our final stop was a shoe store that specializes in kids' shoes. The guy working said that we really shouldn't get him shoes until he has mastered walking. He says his feet aren't finished stretching out, and shoes at this point would just make him fall. So...after many stops and getting no shoes we had a good lunch, went home, and took a nap. Not so bad! : o )

Get Pedi-peds. They are the best "shoe" for his age and they don't hinder his walking... and then at least you can put "shoes" on him when you are out
