Having nice carpet in your home is totally overrated. Why have nice, clean, decent looking carpet when you can have carpet that has been blessed with drool, spit-up, dirty dog paws, etc. Who needs it? I love nice, clean, carpet, but I wouldn't give up the drool or even the dirty dog paws for it. What are the chances that there are amazing hardwood floors underneath my carpet? : )

In a Lakewood house, probably pretty good. Rip out the carpet, polish the beautiful hardwood and get washable area rugs!!
